DESCRIPTION:Registration\nRegister at this link! \nPlace\n2135 North Park Drive\nSalisbury\, NC US 28144\n\n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nInaugural Wipe Out Colorectal Cancer 5k Run/Walk – presented by Rowan Diagnostic Clinic – Salisbury\, NC \nAll proceeds from this event will go towards helping to fund free colonoscopies to those in need within Rowan County.  Rowan Diagnostic Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic that includes primary care\, gastroenterology\, rheumatology\, pulmonology\, sleep medicine\, and nutrition.  Our Diagnostic Health Associates office has partnered with the Checkit4Andretti Foundation to provide free colonoscopies through the Community Care Clinic of Rowan. \nPlease Join Us! – After the 5K run/walk at Catawba\, there will be a block party held at Rowan Diagnostic Clinic (611 Mocksville Avenue).  We will hold a Fun Run at the block party for kids ages 8 and under at approximately 10:30 a.m.  Race participants will receive their awards\, shirts\, and a food truck voucher at the block party.  Anyone is welcome to join the fun of the block party for \n\nFood Trucks\nDJ\nYeti Wheeled Cooler raffle\nRDC Merchandise for sale (all proceeds go to Check4Andretti Foundation)\n& more!\n\nSpecial gift!:  The first 25 preregistered 5k participants and all fun run racers who preregister will receive a special gift! \nRace Location: \n\n5K: 9:00 a.m. – Catawba College softball field – 2135 North Park Drive\, Salisbury\, NC  28144\nFun Run: 10:30 a.m. –  611 Mocksville Avenue\, Salisbury\, NC  28144\n\nCourses: \n\n5K:  The Greenway – starts and ends at the bridge near the softball field.  Dogs are not allowed on the course with participants.  Thank you for your cooperation.\nFun Run:  The fun run will be held at the block party after the race (611 Mocksville Avenue).\n\nStart Times: 5K – 9:00 a.m. | Fun Run – 10:30 a.m. \nRace Day Registration and Check-In:  8:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. on site at softball field \nAwards: Participants must complete race to receive an award – walkers are eligible for age group awards!\nTop Three Overall—Male and Female in 5K (Overall winners not eligible for Age Group Awards & Awards will not be mailed)\nTop Three in Each Age Group—Male and Female in 5K\nAge Groups: 11 & Under\, 12-15\, 16-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60-69\, 70 & Over \nQuality shirts will be guaranteed for all preregistered runners and will be available to registrants on race day while supplies last. \nEntry Fees: \n\n5K:  $20 preregistration (by 3-8-24); $25 on race day\nFun Run:  Free!!  All preregistered children 8 & under will receive a special gift!\n\nFor more information\, contact Lauren Britt at lbritt@rowandiagnostic.com \nTiming and scoring of the event will be provided by Salisbury Rowan Runners.
